Our Story
Quietly nestled on the corner of the island, beach in front and few steps away, it was a three room residence/house built and privately used by the owners for their own vacation with family and friends. Driven by the love of hospitality, two brothers together with their father decided to offer the place for travelers where they can share the pleasures of Maldivian life with loved ones, family and friends in a peaceful laid-back atmosphere.
The house was transformed to Vaali Beach Lodge Maldives and opened its door to lodging in 2014. Over the years the places has expanded from 3 room residence to a full boutique lodge which has soon become a refuge for independent travelers looking for a personal and romantic jumping-off-point for relaxing and exploring the Maldives.
Transforming the house into a boutique lodge has been an incredibly delicate process: owners wanted to retain its personality but it also had to offer all the services required by travelers. The place is filled with love and care the family put into running it. It is not uncommon for one of the owners to be greeting at the airport on your arrival or found during breakfast connecting with guests, having discussions about local culture or helping plan itinerates. With the character and charm of a boutique hideaway, you will be provided with heartfelt friendly service at an easygoing at-home atmosphere.
Vaali Beach Lodge is not the usual hotel. In here you set the rhythm of your holiday. You can completely disconnect from the daily routine and reconnect with nature or be adventurous and embark on voyages of discoveries. It is a place where guests are treated as friends of the family, a place that allows guests to become part of it and feel at home. The Lodge can be booked as individual rooms or guests can choose to rent the lodge partially or in its entirety at a time, utilizing all eight rooms.
